Somebody please add the MVP and player of the week awards and naturally the championship trophy award here. Formatting The Golden Pick Award is very welcome too.

The Golden Pick Award[]

Invented by Kipe for the season four, The Golden Pick Award is almost directly copied from Finnish hockey. Each week each team gets a point to be shared among their season leading scorers (ie. if there's a three-way tie for the lead, each of them gets one third of a point and if a player leads alone, he/she gets the whole point). Only players who scored for the team are included ie. benched players never scores goals for his/her team. All in all each team gets as many points as there is weeks in the season and the player who gets the most points over the season wins the Golden Pick Award. It basically measures the Most Valuable Player for his/her team, while it doesn't necessarily mean the best player of the whole BDL. As an example of NHL, think about Rick Nash. Not necessarily the best player in NHL, but possibly the most important individual for his own team.

The DGSIAB BDL Player of the Week Award[]

The DGSIAB (Down Goes Smurfinablender) BDL Player of the Week Award is a weekly award given to the player who is felt to have added the most the the game that week. It is not only based on playing performance, but also other aspects of the game, such as trash talking and overall contributions to the league.

Week 1- In week 1 the award went to the league commish A03, for his outstanding effort to run the league.

Week 2- The week 2 award was given to the Internationals rookie phenom Warx for his "most amazing thrash talk gif ever and lifted the whole trash talk thing onto a higher level."

Week 3- In week 3 the award was shared between Geese PHiN and InNet, for their great use of trash talk sigs against the Kripplers following the Kripplers picking the Coyotes twice that week.

Week 4- The week 4 award was given to the former MVP and current Internationals general manager Jen, for her matchup winning benching decision in the Internationals-Beeters matchup. She chose to bench a Chicago pick and instead went with 2 Vancouver picks, whcih ultimately won out for the Inties (who won by just 5 points).
