Draft Order

There have been a total of three drafts in the history of the BDL. The orginal draft preceeded the Trial Season and featured five teams drafting eight players each. The reset draft occured between the Trial Season and Season 1. It featured four teams selecting five players each. Finally, the expansion draft happened between Season 3 and Season 4. Both expansion teams had four picks each, along with one compensatory pick each for the Mongooses and Pucktards due to the fact that a player from each of those teams left to become a GM of an expansion team. A total of 70 draft picks have been made in the history of the BDL. All drafts in BDL history have used the "snake draft" method. A snake draft is where the picking order is reversed each round. So the 1st pick in the 1st round gets the last pick in the 2nd round, and so on.
